Alien Inline Skating will be joining us right after Spring Break. The dates will be: April 12,16, 17, 18 and 19th. None of these dates are on Fridays and I will be making a schedule of single classes for 45 minute sessions over the 10 days.
PLEASE post in your blogs today or tomorrow that students are encouraged to bring their own helmets with names on them for the duration of the residency. There will be some helmets available ... but they don't fit particularly well...and EWW....who wants to wear community helmets!?

We are getting ready for Student-led conferences! We did some cursive writing work.
We did some division in math today-looking at the various symbols for division, and some strategies to use-including fact families.
We worked on our Social Projects. We will show you our art at Student-led conferences. They are so beautiful :)
We are making a book for Mrs Y-children that were in her class to send her some greetings and to let her now that we are thinking of her.

We are having an Usborne Book Fair in the learning commons during the book fair.
We have a pet fish!! We are very grateful to have had a generous donation of 2 beta fish! The children are very excited and helped to name him. Introducing...Mr Pickles Bubbles :)
We practiced for our assembly today. We are performing twice tomorrow! Once at 2:15 ish and once at 6:30. We are starting a few minutes earlier, to make sure we finish on time for the end of the day!
If you can make it in the evening, that would be great! We ask that the children are here by 6:15.

We started a new Reader's Theatre :) The children are doing great!

Today, we started division in math!! The children were looking at various strategies to tackle division questions.
We are starting Social again. Today, we talked about environment and how people need to adapt to their environment. We looked at how we dealt with all of the snow this past weekend!
We started our Reader's Theatre and the children we were so excited to get them started! The children are going to share at the end of the week :)
