The students worked on two different problems. The first one was called Magic Hats. Could they place the numbers 1-8 into two hats without numbers exploding. For example: 2,4 and 6 could not be in the same hat because 2+4=6. There is one solution to this problem. The second problem was buying 1000 paperclips using sets of 100, 250 and 500. How many different combinations could they make?
