We ended our day with the students using i-pads and a program called Decibel 10. They toured the school and measured the sound level of each space. Ask your child which space was the loudest, the quietest? Do they remember the # of decibels. This morning as some students were finishing up the Science write up from yesterday the rest of the class made pan flutes. These should be in backpacks of those that made them.
In math, Mrs. Roworth joined us and had a big math thinking activity for us using dice. For an hour and 1/2, the children were guessing missing numbers and adding numbers. Ask your child to show you what we were doing. It's a great way to practice basic facts.
