Mrs. Brandt's Comment Challenge: What is a way that deaf people can communicate?
JF: Today, in gym we played a rock paper scissors game.
AB: We started our own names in sign language. My name was hard.
I had to do eight letters.
SR: This morning, we got some visitors from the University of Calgary. They worked in our class today.
DML: In math, we did patterns again. It was a decreasing patterns.
NE: During our sign language drawing, table groups went around the school and mapped the noisy areas. They wrote the number of decibels on a map. The noisiest area for my group was the learning commons.
JZ: Also, we had book clubs where my group read with Mrs. Brandt. Other kids worked on their Absolutely True stories.
GT: When we went with our group, we went in one class that was singing songs. This was 78 decibels.
