SR: Today, in gym we played a scarf game where we had to go to the other line without losing our scarf.
JB: In math, we did our normal math and did a candy problem. While people were working on math, two groups went to the learning commons. We took turns going.
JZ: Also, we went to drumming and we all tried the big drums and bells. We went to the learning commons and I didn't go because I forgot my book.
JA: During book clubs, Mrs. Peers read with some groups and we also did word work with apostrophes.
SA: At Social Studies time, we colored and labeled the parts of the world that we were learning about plus Canada.
Mrs. Peers: SA shared a Bollywood dance with us that was amazing.
RM: We had our Olympic Recap. We now have 21 medals.
EX: Finally, Charlie came to the Chocolate Factory and they started the tour.

JA: Today, in math, we did math puzzle with division.
JB: In gym, we did three games that our gym teacher taught us. They were a memory game, double duck duck goose, circle soccer.
EX: Also in the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Charlie won a golden ticket and he gets to go to the Chocolate Factory with Grandpa Joe.
JZ: At the morning, Mrs. Peers was back.
MT: During Book Clubs, we learned K and L.
LO: Reminder: In our backpacks we have a tax receipt for our parents for lunch supervision. Our Nighttime performance is March 14, at 6:30.
SR: For Science, we did some websites on our Animal Life Cycles Link.
Mrs. Brandt's Comment Challenge: What is a difference between the movie Despereaux and the book so far?
EX: At gym, we played Winter Olympics and two events were biathalon and ski jumping. We jumped on soft blue mats.
SR: Today, this afternoon we had a 1/2 hour to hand out cards and have some treats.
JA: In book clubs, some of us made cards and holders for our Valentine's.
MT: During math, we tried to finish some math sheets with multiplication and subtraction. If you were done you could play math games.
JB: Also, in story time, there two more tickets found by Violet Beauregard and Mike Teavee.
AB: Reminders: We have 5 days off now. Mrs. Peers will join us again after the weekend. Save the date, we perform March 14, at 6:30.
JZ:Mrs. Brandt found the Despereaux movie and we watched 20 minutes.

MT: During science, we finished our review and shared our mystery animal booklets.
JA: Today, in gym, we played sledge hockey on scooters.
JF: Reminders: Tomorrow, bring valentines if you want but bring for everyone. You can give to other classes if you wish.
JZ: Also, today is my birthday. I handed out cupcakes with Heart sprinkles on them.
SR: Reminders: Our evening performance is March 14 at 6:30. Book orders are due Tuesday, February 20.
LO: On Thursday and Friday we do not have school. Also on Monday. That means we have a five day break.
IK: In Book Clubs, we found Proper Nouns.

NE: In gym, we did a running relay where we used flashlights as torches and we had the run outside the red rectangle. We also played curling.
KC:Also in music, we practiced Sasha and we played the spoons.
MT: During math, we rolled die and wrote multiplication and division questions from the numbers we rolled.
JZ: We have started a new book called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
SR: Today, we did some more drumming.
AB: Reminders: Thursday, Friday and Monday don't bring your children to school as there will be nobody here.
EX: At Science, we made chart like amphibians and others and we wrote what we know.
DML: On Wednesday, it's Valentine's day and we can handout valentine's cards.
JF: This morning, we did our handwriting and the letters we did are I and J.

JA: Today, we did review and it is in our backpacks.
JZ: In gym, we played bench ball.
DML: At finish up time, I played Monopoly because I was finished my work and some kids weren't.
SR: Also, we did Math for our review. It was a 2 step problem with fish.

JA: Today, we started drumming and I learned that it can be really loud.
JZ: We had indoor recess because it was cold outside. We had fun lunch which was pizza.
MT: In math, we worked with fractals. I did an 8 times pattern.
SR: When we went to gym, we did our warm up and played 2 types of tag, bandage and pie tag. Then we free skipped.
CC: During Music, we did daily do and worked on the dance Sasha.
NE: At Science time, we basically did a chart that categorized the animal types.
SA: Reminders: We will be having an evening performance on March 14 at 6:30 to share what we have been doing in music. Save the Date.
DML: Finally, unfortunately we didn't get to start our new book. We will start on Monday.

JA: Today, we did a math problem with colors and blocks.

DML: Before blog and home time, we finished the Tale of Despereaux and tomorrow we are going about humans this time because we have read a lot about animals.
LO: At talk time, we talked about how to be safe on the Internet.
SR: Also, somebody in our class won the walking Wednesday draw.
EX: In gym, we played band aid tag and after we went skipping at different stations.
JB: Additionally, during book clubs the blue group read while the red group did writing about the Despereaux and his quality of life. Then we switched at 9:15.

MT: During school, we were finishing off our mammal posters and made a book about an imaginary animal. We also played animal jeopardy.
JA: Today, during book clubs, we did word work where we found words in the word Valentine's Day.
AB: As people finished their posters, we played the jeopardy game.
JB: In gym, after our warm up we did finding words relay. Then we did skipping with a partner.
IK: This morning in math, we did the 11 times table and we wrote word problems where the answer was 36 as the sum, difference and product.
EX: Also, some people still have to finish art and writing. It will be homework on Friday if it is not done.
JZ: We made books about imaginary animals.

JA: Today, we worked on our mammals posters.
SR: Also today is my birthday.
IK: This morning in book clubs, we did G and H in handwriting.
JB: In gym, we did Asteroids and Ankle biters as well as skipping. There were challenge cards.
EX: We had a division activity where we were doing division questions and coloring in the spaces with the correct color according to the answer.
DML: Before recess with math, we did mental math.
MT: During Music, we did our daily do and watched some dance to get ready for our sharing assembly in March.
LO: When we were reading the Tale of Despereaux, we discovered the cook was making soup.
JZ: At school, we got our list for Valentine's cards. Please remember that you don't have to give out valentines but if you do, give one to everyone in the class.
