Did you know that we made our own maps and put in all the countries that we are studying? After that we coloured them to show where they are. The study of land is called geography.

We played Double Duck Goose in gym today. It was so fun and exciting and taught us to follow directions carefully.
We tried Sudoku Math riddles today using division. What a great way to practice our facts.
We wrote what we though our most important Rights were. Giving examples of why we thought they were important really made us appreciate some of the simplest things that we have.

We had to read a math riddle very carefully today. it really made us think hard about all the connections between addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
We started to read, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" written by Roald Dahl. Good books inspire us to read more!
We got our marks for our "Daily Do" this shows how well we know our scales.
We used multiplication to figure out how to extend the pattern of the fractals that we drew. Some of us got to numbers in the millions.
It was fun to create our own drawing to think and wonder about. It's good to be able to describe what we think and wonder about.
We shared all the "taste" words we found in our books. It was interesting to hear all the words people found! It was also good practice to read in front of our class.

We finished the book, "The Tale of Despereaux". Today we wrote about what we thought about Despereaux's quality of life.
We had our second lesson of drumming. It was interesting to learn that the type of drum we are playing comes from West Africa. Tunisia is in East Africa!
We learned more about division today. It's so cool how division is multiplication in reverse.
Delightfully we wrote all the taste words we could find in our books. It helps us to notice the great words in our books.

We got all the way up to the 11 times table today! We even wrote our own math riddles for a sum, difference and product.
It was interesting to create a funny story about two kids pranking each other. Sounds like real life at our homes!
We made up a clue book for an imaginary animal. The clues eventually led us to what the animal was classified as.
Reading is so important. It helps our brain figure out letter combinations, new words, stories and information.
Finally we got to partner skipping. It keeps us healthy and strong and makes us work as a team.
